Nocturnal Beauty / C7 is the cabin for explorers. It's the largest one-bedroom floor plan on the property — 500 square feet — with a generous bedroom holding a stackable washer/dryer, a deep tub-shower combo, and a living room that fits a full queen sleeper sofa. Two people sleep in the bedroom, two more on the sofa, and the layout doesn't feel cramped.
C7 sits at the end of the property closest to the cabin entrance, which makes it the shortest walk to Big Bear Village for shops and dinner, and the quickest route to Snow Summit for a ski day. It's the cabin we recommend when guests tell us they plan to be out of the cabin most of the day and just want a well-designed place to come back to at night.
A few specifics worth flagging up front: C7 has a front porch only — no back porch on this one — and the kitchen is a kitchenette with a 4-burner gas cooktop rather than a full oven. If you need an oven for a real cooking weekend, look at C2 or C4. If you're planning to eat out anyway, C7 is the honest pick.

If the plan is to eat dinner in the Village, come back, fall asleep, wake up, walk to the lifts, ski, and repeat — C7 minimizes everything that isn't time on the mountain or time in town. The trade-off is the front-porch-only outdoor setup and the cooktop-without-oven kitchenette. If those aren't dealbreakers, this is the cabin that puts you closest to the things you came for.
