Colorado Lodge / C4 is the flagship cabin, the largest on the property, and the one the entire boutique lodge takes its name from. Renovated down to the studs, with vaulted ceilings, oversized windows, and a full kitchen built around a central island. At 850 square feet it's a full third bigger than the next-largest cabin at Colorado Lodge.
The living area centers on a wood-burning fireplace with kindling and firestarter provided — this is the only cabin at Colorado Lodge with a real fireplace. The spa-bath master suite features a clawfoot soaking tub with a floor-to-ceiling forest view. Out back, a redwood deck holds a private hot tub screened from the rest of the property by the pines.
Two bedrooms comfortably sleep four; a child on the living room couch makes five. Baltic birch lined walls, angular tile, and custom built-in cabinetry throughout.

What makes C4 different
The Only Cabin with All Three
Plenty of Big Bear cabins have a hot tub. A few have a fireplace. Almost none have both, and even fewer pair that with a spa-bath master suite where the soaking tub looks straight into the pines. C4 has all three — on the same property, in the same cabin, at the same time. It's the cabin designed for the full-ritual romance evening, in a building that wasn't designed for anything else.
If you're choosing between hot tub cabins at Colorado Lodge, the other option is C6 — a favorite for dog parents, with a private fenced yard and a private fire pit instead of the fireplace and spa bath. C4 is the cabin for the evening; C6 is the cabin for the morning with pets running around in the yard. Different trips, different cabins.
