Small + Mighty / C5 is a 400-square-foot studio where the bed sits behind a half wall that separates it from the living area — a small layout choice that makes a big difference, and why guests often say the cabin feels like a one-bedroom. It's compact by design, not by accident: the cleanest expression of the Nordic-minimalist approach on the property, and one of our highest-repeat-booking cabins.
The outdoor setup punches well above the square footage. A pizza oven, charcoal BBQ, and a generous back porch with outdoor seating. C5 is also the closest cabin to the community hot tub — a short walk under the pines from the front door.
One thing to know before you book: C5 is the only cabin on the property without a washer/dryer in unit. Laundry is available elsewhere on the property — just reach out and we'll point you to it. Every other amenity is on par with the rest of the lodge.
Who It's For
Solo travelers and couples who want minimal footprint and maximum atmosphere. The cabin to pick if you like the idea of a small space done well, if you plan to cook outside, and if you want the shortest walk to a steaming hot tub at the end of the night.

The Cozy Studio That Lives Bigger
A well-designed studio is usually better than a badly-designed one-bedroom, and C5 is the clearest example on the property. The half-wall separating the bed from the living area gives you the psychological distinction of two rooms without the wasted square footage of a real wall. Guests consistently leave surprised by how comfortable 400 square feet can feel.
It's also our cheapest cabin, which matters if you're the kind of traveler who'd rather spend the weekend hiking, skiing, or hanging around the Village than paying for square feet you won't use. The trade-off is the no-washer/dryer disclosure — which is fine for a weekend, less ideal for a week. If you need in-unit laundry, look at C3, which is the other one-bedroom-ish layout with a pizza oven on the porch.
